What's the story behind your artwork?

My artwork showcases Penang's culture in a fun and magical way! The piece is framed by Nyonya-inspired tiles, with Penang's heritage architecture forming the backdrop. Batik-inspired floral motifs surround the composition. At the center, FaFaLa (my fairy character) conjures a surprise box overflowing with Penang's famous foods: Char Kway Teow, Asam Laksa, and Cendol! The food explosion captures how Penang is full of delicious surprises! This piece is my love letter to my hometown, where history, culture, and food come together.
